Dr Suresh Natarajan leads customer solutions engineering for Dana’s Off-Highway business unit. In this role, he is responsible for designing electrified solutions that enable off-highway original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to successfully launch electric machines.  

Prior to joining Dana, he was Director of the Motion Technology Center at Parker Hannifin, leading electrification innovation for industrial and aerospace applications. Suresh has deep expertise in developing controls, electronic hardware and software systems at Terex Corporation, Manitowoc Cranes and Ingersoll-Rand. He started his career at Ford, serving in several capacities, where he developed their vehicle system controller for their hybrid electric vehicles.

Suresh holds a doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, Chennai, India. He is the author of more than 30 technical publications and has seven patents related to electrification and controls.
