In this role, Ron is responsible for leading the development and integration of ultra-low to zero carbon power system solutions for the Mobile Industrial and Power Generation markets. By unifying expertise of application knowledge in the mining space, with the unique opportunities electrified technologies offer, Ron is actively working to advance the right solutions to meet the near- and long-term miner decarbonisation goals.

He has over 20 years of experience in powertrain systems development, and for the last 15 years has worked for Cummins where he led the development of multiple large displacement diesel and dual fuel engine platforms for Mining, Rail, Marine and Oil & Gas markets. In the last five years, he has focused on all electric, hybrid electric and hydrogen fuel cell hybrid powerplant development as Cummins accelerates towards decarbonised system solutions.
