Rhae Adams is the co-Founder and Chief Growth & Sustainability Officer at First Mode, a global carbon reduction company developing creative, clean energy solutions for heavy industry’s toughest problems. In his role as CGSO, Rhae works closely with customers and governments to study the decarbonisation of their operations, including the application of First Mode's nuGen™ haulage solution. With a holistic approach that spans business development, engineering studies, government relations, sustainability, marketing, and communication, Rhae ensures that First Mode's clients can effectively leverage technology to remove diesel from their operations without sacrificing performance or cost.

In 2022, First Mode was responsible for the design, build, and deployment of the world's largest hydrogen vehicle ever created: a zero-emission mining haul truck. The company is now focused on the decarbonisation of entire mine haul truck fleets.

Prior to his work at First Mode, Rhae was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 in Manufacturing for his contributions to the resources sector, which includes his work at Planetary Resources and Accenture Strategy. Rhae holds a B.A. in Economics from Rice University.
