Maarten van Koppen joined MacLean in May 2020 and is the VP for Product Management. Maarten brings 15 years of experience as a mining engineer in Canada. Maarten graduated with a Masters of Science in Resource Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands in 2008, and completed his MBA at the Edinburgh Business School in 2019. For the majority of Maarten’s career, he focused on project development, with the most notable project being the all-electric Borden Mine Project in north-eastern Ontario. In Maarten’s current role at MacLean, he oversees the product portfolio and product & technology development pipeline to continue to bring value to MacLean customers for years to come.
