As Business Manager, Off-Road Electrification, in Shell’s Sector & Decarbonisation business, Keimpe is responsible for developing, delivering and commercialising electrification products, services and solutions with and for customers in off-road sectors, with a focus on mining, construction and marine.

Building on Shell’s extensive transport electrification experience, the Shell-led consortium was a ChargeOn Innovation Challenge winner with its Mining Electrification Solution for Off-Road Vehicles. The solution is a modular, end-to-end and interoperable electrification system that reduces emissions without compromising on efficiency or safety. It aims to enable a decarbonised and cost-effective electrification system, whilst minimising operational impact.

Prior to joining Shell in the decarbonisation space, Keimpe was Energy Strategy Consultant at a global management consulting firm. He holds an MCs in Astronomy.
