John is a multilingual executive with over 30 years of mining equipment experience spanning the Americas, Middle East, South Africa and Asia. He is known for transforming multi-national businesses into customer-centric, scalable, and efficient organisations.

Before becoming the CEO of FLANDERS, John founded and led JOPR Capital Partners, LLC, a private consulting firm that partnered with Center Rock Capital Partners for the careful selection and acquisition of industry-leading companies in the electrical (FLANDERS), mechanical and hydraulic verticals.

John is also the former Aftermarket President at REV GROUP, INC, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of specialty vehicles with plus-$2.3 billion in revenue.

Previously, he held various leadership positions at Caterpillar Inc, where he was instrumental in pushing Cat to enter the ultra-class electric trucks arena.

At Bucyrus International Inc, John was Senior Vice President North American Operations, Senior Vice President Distribution and Aftermarket, and Vice President of Latin America, among others.

John thrives in leading multi-functional global teams, managing complex client relationships, winning new business and building collaborative cultures while developing strategic vision to stretch beyond traditional methods of problem solving.

John holds a MPhil in Management from Walden University, Minneapolis. He is also an MBA and BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics from Lakeland College, Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
