Joel Bauer graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mineral Resources Engineering from RWTH Aachen. After taking part in the European Mining Course 2015-2017, he received a triple Masters degree from Aalto University, RWTH Aachen and TU Delft. Before joining FLSmidth, he worked as a Mining Engineer in the limestone industry and as a Site Manager for an aggregate quarry. At FLS, he is now a Mine Planning Engineer as part of the Integrated Systems Consulting team, conducting feasibility studies for the implementation of IPCC systems worldwide.
