George started his career as an Electrical and Automation Systems Engineer and progressed over 25-plus years through project execution, team management and business development roles. His experience spans electrical distribution to drive systems to automation and control systems in multiple industries including mining, bulk material handling, pulp & paper, forestry, semiconductor fabrication and packaging. Currently with ABB’s North American Mining Team, George focuses on early project engagements to support ABB’s mining clients through the early development, technology selection and de-risking execution strategies as it pertains to overall electrification and automation technologies.
