Dave Rawlins, Head of Engineering Technology at WAE, is an engineer with more than two decades of industry experience.

Having graduated from Imperial College in London with a Mechanical Engineering degree, he joined Ricardo, a UK-based strategic, environmental and engineering consultancy. During a period of 15 years at Ricardo, he worked as Manager, Thermodynamics and Fluids Simulation, and Chief Engineer, Clean Energy and Head of Software Solutions. Subsequently, he became Chief Technology Officer at the High Value Manufacturing Catapult, a group of manufacturing research centres in the UK working with business, research and government to transform UK manufacturing.

In March 2022, he joined WAE as Head of Engineering Technology, spearheading many of the company’s net-zero emissions initiatives across various sectors, focusing on off-highway.
