Brian Huff is the Vice President of New Technologies for Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions’ Load and Haul Division. He co-founded and was Chief Technology Officer of Artisan, a manufacturer of battery-electric mining equipment, before it was acquired by Sandvik and became a part of the Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions’ Load and Haul Division. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California Davis and has over 25 years of hands-on experience with a wide variety of advanced electric vehicle programs.
