Dr Barry Flannery is the Founder and CEO of Xerotech, a battery pack company that designs, engineers and manufactures high-voltage scalable lithium-ion battery packs for non-road mobile machinery. Xerotech’s vision is that electrification is not just the next step – it's the final step. With automotive electrification being largely solved, Xerotech’s mission is to enable the electrification of “everything else”. Dr Flannery holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a degree in Applied Physics from the National University of Ireland, Galway. He is also the named inventor on over 50 patents related to battery pack design and technology. Xerotech is based in Galway, Ireland and employs over 150 people.
